Alliteration
What is Alliteration?
Alliteration is the occurrence of the same letter or sound at the beginning of adjacent or closely connected words.
What does Alliteration have to do with marketing?
Let’s say you had an amazing meal at a new restaurant. The next day you meet up with your friend. You want to recommend the restaurant but you can’t remember its name. So you resort to Googling it. Chances are that the restaurant name was elaborate. One of Washington DC’s (where SunnyNite is based) most popular restaurants, Founding Famers, uses alliteration. In the above example, Google was there to save the day via geo-location but in everyday interactions Today, consumers are overwhelmed with information. As marketers, business owners and creators, we want to make it easy for people to remember our brand’s name, the title of our book, or our signature product or service. The power of alliteration helps people remember your brand.
